Rachel Heckel
“You can do hard shit!”
Rachel kicked off her instructing career in 2019 after falling in love with beat-based cycling for its gritty and athletic undertones. It wasn’t until she found High Ride that she truly understood the value behind her love for a good sweat and desire for community merging into one space: “I grew up an athlete, so I love a good workout; but there’s something about leaving the room sweaty amongst people that consistently show up for one another that can only be found at High Ride.”
Both on and off of the podium, Rachel emits an energy that speaks “you are strong and capable of achieving anything.” Her presence is powerful and steady, yet her bubbly personality and bright demeanor leave riders feeling lighter and happier after unclipping. And, although Rachel brings the heat all 45 minutes along, it’s during the last three songs of class that you’ll catch her in her deepest flow. “When you feel like your tank is empty, that’s when it’s most important that you show up. Give yourself the gift of strength - even when you think you don’t have any left.”
